We are very excited to be using the Freightliner M2 106-v chassis.
When I took my new position as shop manager in mid Dec. 2008 we were having down time issues with the trucks we were using, Steve Bolton my department heads’ only instruction was to "Make something happen." I looked to several dealers for options. I spent days, nights and weekends pouring over specs and brochures trying to find an answer. In the end I decided that the Freightliner M2 would deliver ease of service and rugged dependability we were looking for in a refuse truck.
Factor in the initial cost, uptime, and dealer support we are already experiencing... Something happened, and thanks to Kansas Truck Center, we're not looking back.

No matter the problem I have, they always work with me and we come to a
good solution. Price, product, service, and convenience is never compromised
at Salina. J.R. in parts is always ready to search and locate a part. Mark Benson
is top notch when it comes to service. He and James Quade keep the service department
running smooth. I brag about Kansas Truck Center in Salina to other drivers and I
tell them to give this Freightliner dealership a try. Several who have were glad they did.
In comparison to other dealers I have used, Salina always comes out on top.

 In late August we brought our motor home to Lincoln Truck Center with a Cummins engine performance problem. In mid September the problem was finally resolved. Cummins warranty trouble shooting protocol required certain procedures and lots of time. LTC personnel were long suffering through the process.
Several employees were involved and did their best. I would like to single out Bob Sturgis as an outstanding person who worked very hard at resolving the problem.
He saw the repair through to the end and gave it his best, even coming in on his days off to talk to Cummins. He is to be commended. I also would like to favorably acknowledge those who assisted Bob in one way or another.
